Christ-like Youth Ministry

Brand Identity, Logo Design

Visual identity design for a Caribbean-based youth ministry intended on supporting young Christians in their spiritual growth and personal journey.

The initial challenge was to develop a visual identity that could contain meaning and value to the youth ministry team.

The purpose was to express community, youth, vibrance, sophistication and energy, while anchoring the visual in a specific New Testament Biblical text — Galatians 2:20.

Through the thoughtful usage of color and shape, the design concept centers on three key visual ideas:

  1. A veil/fabric in motion

  2. A heart being revealed

  3. A community of people in support

The idea of creating a stand-alone visual that could also double as the icon for the youth-focused brand was a central idea that informed the design process. This makes the mark unique, visually impactful and distinguishable from others.
